2. Miss Nelson is Missing, I like this book because this is how I felt when I first started teaching. I still do when I'm having a bad day.
3. The Starfish Poem fuels my passion, because if I can reach or touch the life of one child it would make a difference.
I like your educational quote and I think that this rings true for many of us who are passionate about our work and what we do!
ReplyDeleteI do not think that I have ever read this book. I will look it up. We talk about all of our passions...but this is also a stressful, crazy, and sometimes miserable job....so it is nice when we are at our lowest and having a bad day that something can brighten us up and remind us why we are here! We are not perfect and we will al have rough and bad days! :)
The starfish poem I have also not read...who is it by so that I can look it up as well!

So far you are doing a good job. I like your children's quote and the book you have chosen. I just read that book to my student on Thursday and had them write about their favorite part of the story. It is a good book.
